Disha Vakani’s comeback on Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashmah

Ever since our favorite Dayaben aka Disha Vakani left the show, there have been a lot of speculations about her comeback. Disha took a break 2 years ago as she was pregnant. She gave birth to a beautiful daughter in November 2017. Disha Vakani’s comeback on Taarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashmah has been a controversial topic ever since.

The maternity leave that Disha was on, turned out to be as long as 2 years. There were frequent rumors about when will she come back. Moreover, there were also rumors about Disha Vakani’s comeback on Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashmah to be turning into a permanent leave. There was news that the terms between Asit Modi and Disha Vakani are not coming on one point.

Well, it looks like the prayers have been answered! The channel has confirmed Disha Vakani’s comeback on the show this Navratri. Any day between 27 September and 7th October you will see your Daya Ben back on the show. Speaking about what are the reasons behind the delay, it was said that interference of Disha’s husband was the reason.

A source revealed, “Mayur Saab Nahi mante. I think he is a CA and only he knows maths. But those numbers are only his, not ours.” Secondly, Mayur wanted his wife to work only 15 days 4 hours a day. These conditions were unacceptable as her maternity leave is over and if he needs to come back, she should be in full spirit.” The source also added, “This kind of interference is not understandable. Our show is going well, TRPs without Daya Ben have not been affected. Every other actor is working hard and we are converging.”
