Homemade face packs for glowing skin in summers
Summers have arrived and this means the temperature will rise. Its that time of the year again when you will have to protect your skin from suntan, sunburns, and sweating! Your skin will turn greasy and dull. Your food and hygiene are obviously going to be major deciding factors but there’s something else as well that can help you survive challenging summers.
Taking proper care of your skin will also make things easier. However, everytime you come home after fighting the harsh sun rays, you can’t just go to a salon and get a facial. It will burn a hole in your pocket and also regular use of chemicals on your face will damage the natural moisture of your skin. Hence, here we have some homemade face packs that easy to make but highly propitious in keeping your skin hydrated and nourished.
Multani Mitti + Rose Water
This one is extremely easy to make. You just need to mix some Multani mitti (fullers earth) with few drops of rose water. Apply the pack on your face and neck, let it dry and wash off! This face pack can even be applied to hands and arms in a similar manner. This is one summer essential you definitely need.
Multani mitti + Rosewater combines together to remove dirt and excess oil from your skin. Multani mitti is also best known for removing suntan.
Oats + Almonds + Milk
This one works best for the combination skin. Almonds and milk are used to add nourishment and natural moisture to skin while oats will help scrub off dead skin and excessive oil.
How to make: Crush 8-10 soaked almonds, add 2 tablespoons of oats and some milk to make a paste.
Cucumber + Honey +Milk Crème
Cucumbers are what summers are for. They have cooling properties to help calm the burnt skin (sunburn). Honey and crème will add nourishment back to the skin.
How to make: Grate a small cucumber; add a teaspoon of honey and some milk crème into it. Apply this on your face and neck and wash off after 20 minutes.
Papaya + Honey
Papaya is a great product for skin. Whether to patch it on your face or eat a bowl full of it! Potassium present in papaya helps in hydrating the skin and removes its dullness. It also unclogs the pores and removes sebum. Papaya is the most effective ingredient in treating sunburns.
How to make: mash some papaya and add some honey into it. Spread it over your face and neck. Once it dries, wash it off!
These face packs are true blessings in summers. Use the one that you feel will work best for you and you will notice the visible changes. The oil will come in control and your skin will remain hydrated all the time.
