The face behind Ikali Studio is the ace designer Ikali Sukhalu. Ikali is a fashion graduate from Wigan and Leigh, Mumbai and after that, she did fashion business from the London College of Fashion. While many young designers focus on the Avante Garde in the fashion industry, Ikali has some really unique in mind.

Despite all the opportunities in the world, Ikali chose to move back to her native place and experiment with her traditional fashion. She managed to redefine the traditional naga fashion into urban style. The most famous creation being the cute naga dolls. The whole business that Ikali build in Nagaland was based on the ever-evolving art of embroidery. Moreover, these are the signs of a promising designer in the making, they never forget the roots!

Speaking of achievements, Ikali was amongst the top 5 women achievers awardees at the FICCI (Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) in 2017.
