While it comes to packing for the treks, the task gets very challenging. You always have to make sure to pack the essentials you need to take on a trekk. The idea of carrying all essentials and yet go light on your luggage is all the more confusing. Amidst all these confusions, you are bound to make mistakes and forget one thing or the other. For a casual thing, forgetting a few things is not a big deal as you can buy them all at the local markets but in the middle of the mighty mountains, you will have nothing but regrets. So to make your thrilling journey even more delightful you need to pack all the essentials that you might require.
Here’s the list of essentials you need to carry along.
Torch: To guide your path back in case it gets pitch dark. There are not going to be lights on the top of the mountains of course! So you need to have a guiding light with you.
Knife: There are more than thousand reasons why you need to carry a knife in your trekking bag. You may need it for self-defense or survivor.
Trekking shoes: Comfortable shoes are gonna take you a long way. Your shoes can decide how your trekk is going to be. Invest wisely in some solid pair of shoes.

Water Bottle: While on a hike, it’s important to stay hydrated so that pretty much explains why water bottle is required.
First-aid Kit: A first-aid kit is one of the most important things you need to take on a trekk. In case there are some trivial medical emergencies, you are far away from a doctor. Make sure you have the first-aid handy to keep you going till you get the doctor.
Dry Snacks: Feeling hungry is a natural process but while you are on a trek you can’t be relishing upon your favorite food.
Map & GPS tracker or Compass: Those mighty mountains are no less than a maze and one can seriously get lost in them. To save yourself from the trouble, keep a GPS tracker or a map with you.
Other essentials that you need to take on a trekk (miscellaneous): Sanitizers, Sunblock, Sunglasses, Powerbank, Toilet Papers.
